If you want some honest advice to the finances thing, I get paid Bi-Weekly and tend to blow most of it on useless shit, stick it in a stock account and forget about it. Each payday I have about 50 bucks taken out to go to a 401K and a Broker, just let it sit in a different account, then you won't be tempted to spend all of it on anime shit or video games. that's what I have been doing and it works great because if I need money for anything, I can just pull from that for a big purchase.

Edit: Do look into what account you want though, look for one where it's taxed when you put it in you don't get FUCKED by Taxes.

I appreciate your perspective of growing up poor and coming into some money as an adult. It's stressful. It's confusing. You have anxiety about what if you waste it all. Cracked had some good articles a few years ago about how expensive it is to be poor and how it develops bad habits when you do get out of poverty.

Taking time for therapy is a good habit. I'm glad you're open about it! Mental health is healthcare too.

I Fuckin' Loved Reading This. It's Very Insightful, and it's Comforting as well. This is gonna be Corny as Fuck, but we've had a pretty Similar Upbringing and Mentality on things; and knowing that THE FNF guy had a lot of the Same Thoughts and Struggles really Hits right in the Heart in a Bittersweet Way. I'm not saying I'm Glad we both grew up Poor most our Lives, just that people in situations like Ours can Accomplish and Achieve something like this is Very Inspiring. I Hope you guys have Dev Diaries or something like that for the Game. I'd Love to Hear more about the Business Side of this and more Dev Origins.
