k.

Also, just don't bother and be happy I guess lmao

I'm proud of all of you. You're all very talented and worked so hard!

lov u sevenseize hehe thanku

My English is kinda bad, but still wanna say that Friday Night Funkin' changed my December in a good way. The game is so simple yet so fun and I'm in love with the music. It was very pleasant to make fanarts and being noticed, feels like one of my childish dreams came true. What's more, it really made me interested in the Newgrounds culture, kinda feel like I've opened a new world to explore. Still I can understand your worries, especially with your recent deadlines. However, you guys are still hardworking and very epic! I wish y'all luck and success in the future!<3

Good job not getting a big head. You stayed modest. I like that :)

It's been cool to see everything that is happening with FNF, excited to see what's ahead in 2021!

It's a bit inspiring. Makes me want to work harder on my ideas that I don't get to work on super often. More than anything I hope you don't get TOO stressed out over it all. You and the team made a cool thing. I hope in the middle of the overwhelming attention you are also able to acknowledge that without the guilt. I find it hard to accept the cool things I've done so I probably cant even fathom how it must feel for you guys. Keep doing what you're doing. its cooool

teehee kisses gatekid thanku

Ride that wave, man. Go wherever it takes you, and may that be someplace exceptional. After reading your post, it seems to me that you've still got both feet planted firmly on the ground, and that's a good thing. Let yourself get swept away while remaining grounded, and I think you'll do just fine. I'm sure that probably sounds like some kind of crazy oxymoron, but I think you get what I'm saying.

Honestly, the fact that you're examining and pondering all of this, wondering about what comes next and if it will change you, well...it's those considerations that tell me that you can handle it. Sure, it might change your spending habits, but there's nothing wrong with improving your own financial situation, and I don't think that success will change who you are all that much. As long as you remember where you came from and what you've been through in life, I just don't see you turning out like Gollum from The Lord of the Rings. xD

I know you're insanely busy, so I'm almost sorry for leaving you a long message like this, but I just wanted to let you know that I think it's amazing how much this has all blown up in such a short time. There's no way of knowing how long this will last, so I reiterate: ride the wave like a pro surfer, bro! The shore will always be there whenever you're ready to take a break, chill out and take a beat, or you just want to get back to whatever the heck normal is.

Stay you.

Dude if there's one thing I've learned from people suddenly becoming famous, you need to let everyone know you're going to need more time to work on your project. Promise almost nothing so people can be hype for every release; you don't want to risk promising the world and falling flat. I'm really rooting for you. It seems like you're going to have a really great next few months if you and the others continue working hard on this.

I don’t know if you’ll ever read this but,
ever since I discovered your game in late November, your game and inspiration made something click in my brain, made me realize how much Newgrounds influenced me and my life despite me sorta abandoning it when YouTube and the other mediums first started getting popular in the mid 2000s. In the end, despite all that I still was watching Newgrounds animations and playing the Behemoth’s games on all those other websites all this time and I guess I never realized it. Your game inspired me to actually join Newgrounds and start supporting this website and this amazing community.

You and your team did an amazing job creating this gem, and I’m proud of you guys, so much so I’ve donated about $100 dollars into this game and tried to spread word of mouth about it because I want to see you guys succeed and support this project the only way I know how. I can’t fathom how crazy all of this is for you and your team, I understand the sudden fame and new popularity might seem a bit overwhelming, draining and even potentially corrupting, but I’m glad to see you’re keeping a level head about it, pondering your situation and keeping to your roots. Keep your head held high and keep doing what you’re doing. You’ll figure out a way to manage all of this, I have faith in you.

There’s no shame in taking a break, the games not going anywhere, everyone will understand. It doesn’t matter to me if the updates slow down, the games plenty fun already, I’ll just play Blammed and MILF until then :). Love ya man and have a happy new year!

You guys did a MASTERPIECE. It's always a huge weight for a creator. So... you'll have to deal with it. But I'm sure you'll be fine ))

Cam, whatever you do, do not take a break. Life is shit and millions of people on earth can't afford to take a break, they do not have an option. Treat this like the last success you will ever have, sell Merch, soundtracks or whatever you have to, and then buy a house or do whatever you have to to be free from having to work. It was a lot of hard work and a good attitude that got you here, but you are still the same guy no more brilliant than you were before. I'm going to be honest and say that fnf isn't some crazy well-designed masterpiece, and seems more like a game with very appealing art and great music that just happened to catch on. Make this count, after this you could do anything, or just relax and bullshit around, but for now, you'd better milk it and milk it well. I'm not telling you to be a soul-less loser, only to make it count.

It is odd seeing you went from Newgrounds Homeboy who shitpost into a now-famous person who might change Newgrounds in the future.

I honestly never expected FnF to blow up as well. It's weird because I know most of your project was just shit for fun or some weird NG Collab ya guys do but the fact that now the game reaches its fame where it might start a new generation of Browser game and such, it just a surreal thing to witness.

I just can't get over it the fact our Newgrounds homies now make his dream come true. Who knows, you could be the next iconic Newgrounds star (assuming you already are, who knows?)

Wish you the best of luck, Cam. Have you considered making a sequel (whenever you ready for that)?

Don’t forget that there will be a time when Friday Night Funkin will become a thing of the past. Try to profit from this moment as much as you can now, and understand that a time will come when people will lose interest and you’ll be able to explore new ideas.

I used to read some of your old news posts from way back and I was reading through some of them again recently. You've come a long way dude. You deserve every bit of success you've been getting and everyone on NG is mega proud of what you're doing. It's definitely a bit overwhelming to garner an audience much larger than just the NG community but you've also got way more opportunities to look forward to in the future. Keep up the hard work dude and don't let the pressure get ya. Outside of Twitter, you've got a dedicated community here on NG who support everything you do.

While making money isn't the point of life, it's a part of it. If you find a passion that makes you happy, pursue it. But always keep some finances in order in case anything happens. I mean that. That being said, you should be prepared to face any challenge ahead with eagerness. You're a survivor, cancel out all the noise and thoughts and focus on the day to day. Just let things happen. I'm kind of rambling but the general idea is be prepared and happy, if something happens just find your cool and you'll pull through. Good luck dude

I'm missing a yearly recap too for diff reasons, but I hope you still make one in the coming weeks. Always a good read
