continue to put my shit on youtube with no audience, goof around on twitter and ultimately probably spend alot less time online. there wouldnt be any point, newgrounds is the only place where people care about what I make. I'd still animate and draw and do what I love, but nobody would probably watch me anymore, except for my friends.

Since I left Derpibooru and DeviantArt for this. I'll guess ill be using drawception and cry in the corner. My cousin like introduded me to this place a few years back and so far , after i found it , i feel great. But if it shuts down, you know where ill be.

Probably play Newgrounds SIM on some shitty flash game site.

Well said. And the longer you stay here the more stuck you get here... it's like a lovable kind of creative quicksand. The almighty; all entertaining, inspiring and familiar!

nbd they scrubbed half the flash submissions anyway so it's not like there's much "internet history" left to preserve

It'd be just another sign that 'they're killing the little guy'

@Cyberdevil @ninjamuffin99 @ninjamuffin99 NG will always be one of the greates sites. And do not worry if the day comes, cuase there will always be creative people that will make you feel like your back on the site

*Dabs in a philosophy* hope i made you a bit happy! Lol.

gather the stragglers and start a new site

Newgrounds 2: like Kongregate but with animations too

i would also be very sad

There'd be a void left in my heart

Burn down everything.

id at least have to hold in a few tears dude. id try to contact tom to see what the deal is and if newgrounds will still live on in some way i guess? id be pretty shaken up.

What I would do? I would lament the loss of such a unique and creativity-oriented site; the art, music, games, and movies would be hard, if not impossible to find and/or replicate elsewhere. Where would I go? Honestly, probably no where. Youtube certainly has movies and music (albeit with a usually toxic environment), but otherwise, it would simply leave a hole in me that would probably would not be filled. What do I think others would do? Some would attempt to salvage what they can, try to rebuild. Others would probably navigate to whatever sites they can find that has a sliver of what content they found here. And others would be depressed for a while before moving on and just accepting the loss as a bad part of life.

I've been on and coming to newgrounds for almost twenty years. Seen things that made me shake my head as to how it could have possibly have survived the blamming process (I'm looking at you Strawberry Clock and Clock Crew, lol), and have seen things that made me ever so glad to have been here to witness it (love the fact "There She Is" is still in the top ranks of the portal). I can't even think of a single pre-youtube viral video that didn't come from newgrounds (someone at my school somehow got web access in our comp science class just to play 'All your base r belong to us' in the middle of class, lol), other than that stupid dancing baby from the ninties. Whether great or small, I'm glad newgrounds has survived to this day. It's loss would affect a great deal of people significantly.

Though I did wish they'd alter the range of content that shows when you browse thats more than 'one year' but less than 'all' (had to throw in at least one nitpick).

TL:DR - Newgrounds is great. No newgrounds is bad.

I'd be sad but probably move on pretty fast. My activity on Newgrounds has gone through the floor lately.

EVACUATE THE NEWGROUNDS!!!

dwell into the dark hole which is youtube, being squashed by all the rubble which is clickbait content and shit fortnite videos

I would feel sad. Because that newgrounds belongs to a handfull of few sites that don't track its users and offers an internet world that is different from everything else that is out there. It still has many components and features that belong to the internet that everyone fell in love with. And most of all, it doesn't keep on showing unwanted notifications on my phone.
It would be a dark time for creators on the internet.

I mean where else would new creators come to online? Even if they did, it would be hard to find a community where they could participate given that they are new and find new friends.

Make a New Newgrounds

Become a dirty Kongregate browser :)
