I made this over the weekend with @FuShark for Ludum Dare 41. The theme was "Combine 2 Incompatible genres". We did "romance x top down shooter".

Ludum Dare 41 starts today! I'll be participating, and this would be my third Ludum Dare. It's likely that I'll stream a bunch of programming and design on my Twitch page over the weekend, so make sure you follow and check on it and shit. I may or may not be doing all the art myself, dunno lol. I have a few ideas for games but will have to see what the theme is first of course.

And if you're on the edge of wanting to make games but haven't fully commited or finihsed a game, I'd recommend participating! It ends on Monday and game jams are cool as hell so try it out if you're interested!

Someone that Digi knows, stumbled upon this pic on tumblr. Digi then sent it to the dev chat and man this is some good stuff. I think this is the first time I've seen fanart of anything I've done so this is kinda the coolest shit, and I thought I'd share.

I'd like to thanke Tom for keeping Monster Mashing up on the frontpage for so long lmao like damn at the end of the month, it would've been up there for 2 months! Just droppede some tasty music. But if you're reading this I assume that you may have already seen that, and either listened to it, or ignored it, which is fine by me lol. 

I've been fiddlin with music lately and have been satisfied with what's come out of it so far, so much that I actually used one of my own tracks in one of my own games for once! I've mostly been using the same few plugins and they have been working out alright, however it's gettin samey so I think I'll find some fancy new plugins/synths and play around. Music is what brought me to Newgrounds, and I've been interested in making it since. So it feels pretty good to be able to make stuff that's tolerable I suppose. I bought my foster moms old keyboard. When I was living with her, I was pretty much the only one who played it lol. I got it a few weeks ago for about 70$ and I think it's rekindled my musical interests. If I get a good mic, I might record some of that. 

In other news, I've been working on my Pico Day game, which will be a top down shooter. Here's a little demo clip:
